The Healing
Properties of
Plants and Herbs
Plants and herbs absorb, process and store nutrients from their own habitats which promote harmony & healing within our own bodies when ingested or topically applied.
The Curious Herb harnesses the properties of particular plants and herbs which have varied and multiple actions on the skin, body and mind when applied topically.

Natural ingredients
& waterless skincare
Curious Herb products are made only from plants oils, butters, plant extracts or essential oils which have varied and multiple healing properties (see below).

All Curious Herbs products are also waterless. As a result, they have greater moisturising properties than most synthetic skin care products which often use water as a primary ingredient. Whilst it seems counterintuitive, water tends to offer superficial hydration, usually evident in quick absorption. In contrast, plant and herb ingredients take longer to absorb but offer deeper, more penetrating hydration.

Water is also essential for the growth of bacteria. Without water, bacteria is unable to take hold and develop which removes the need for synthetic, chemical, non-natural preservatives. This allows the plants to work their magic and promote healing naturally.

The Curious Herb uses a number extracts, each with different healing properties
